Doubling the number of bike hangars

We will make owning a bike easier. 

You told us that there is too much traffic in Merton and we know that, for too many households, it is difficult to own and store bikes.

We’re laying the groundwork now to make it easier to travel around Merton by ways other than the car, including by making our transport hubs more accessible.

We also want people to take up active travel – such as walking, scooting and cycling.

That’s why we’re installing dozens more new bike hangars in places where people struggle to store a bike.

You’ll soon be able to use your postcode to look up where the next bike hangars are due to be installed.
