Our supported housing sites
Our sites are a mix of one-bedroom apartments with a communal garden or bedsits with shared internal and external spaces.
They are located in Mitcham, Wimbledon Park, and Merton Park.
Each site is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week and support is provided based on your needs.
When you are living at one of our sites the service can help you with:
- daily living skills, such as shopping, cleaning and personal care
- budgeting, housing issues and benefits
- travel training - to get you to areas you may not be familiar with
- banking, shopping, eating out and religious activities
- accessing medical services and following a healthy lifestyle
- attending college and day activities
- accessing work opportunities
- attending social and leisure activities
Eligibility and charges
The service covers adults with learning disabilities, over the age of 18.
We will carry out a needs assessment to see if this service would benefit you.
You need to pay rent to the housing association that owns the premises and you may be able to use Housing Benefit to help with the costs.
You will need to have a financial assessment to work out whether there will be any charges for the support you receive.
CQC inspection report
London Borough of Merton Supported Living Service has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission - March 2019.
