This page explains what to do if you have a parking e-permit and you want to use it with a new vehicle that you intend to keep.
There is a different process for using a parking permit with a courtesy car.
Permits purchased after 5 November 2024
If you purchased your e-permit after 5 November 2024, please follow these steps to change your vehicle on the permit:
- Log into your parking permits account (this link will open in a new tab in your browser)
- Under “Your permits” click “View your permits”
- Click “View/edit” under the permit you want to change
- Click “Change” next to your vehicle registration
- Follow the instructions on the screen
Once you have successfully changed your vehicle, you will be covered to park immediately.
Please note if you change to a diesel vehicle or a petrol vehicle that has a higher CO2 emission that emits 226g/km or more, there will be a supplement pro rata charge to your change of vehicle.
If a refund is due following the change of vehicle (change in fuel type) it will be applied to the card used for the original payment.
Permits purchased before 5 November 2024
If you purchased your e-permit before 5 November 2024, you need to cancel your permit and buy a new one for the new vehicle.
