If you live in a controlled parking zone (CPZ), a visitor scratchcard permit allows someone to park on the street when they are visiting you. Your visitor must display the permit in their vehicle and use the designated parking bays.
We sell scratchcard permits in batches of 10 full-day or half-day permits.
These steps are explained below.

We changed our online service for buying parking permits on 5 November 2024. You will need to register for a new account the first time you use the new system.
If setting up a new account, select ‘Resident’ as your ‘Customer type’. If you already have a non-resident account, you need to set up a new account as a resident.
You will need to provide proof of your address to show that you live in a CPZ in Merton. You will need to upload one of the following:

We need to check and approve your application. This may take up to 2 weeks.
We’ll send you an email letting you know if your application has been approved.
The scratchcard permits will be posted to your address. Please allow 5 working days to receive your scratchcards; in busy periods this may take longer.
The table below lists the zones and times in which half day permits can be used. Half-day visitor permits can only be used for the zone that they are issued for.
