Consultation results 25 January 2019

The consultation resulted in a total of 177 questionnaires returned from your road for the proposed CPZ representing a response rate of 40.5%. Of the 177 who responded, 5% (9) support a CPZ, compared to 91% (161) who do not and 4% (7) who are unsure. The results of the consultation along with officers' recommendation were presented in a report to the Cabinet Member for Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Housing and Transport on the 11 January 2019.

After careful consideration of the consultation results and officers' recommendations, the Cabinet Member has agreed to abandon the proposed LT CPZ. The report and the decision can be viewed at the following web link.

Informal consultation 16 November 2018

Following a petition received from residents in The Avenue area in Mitcham, experiencing parking difficulties in their road, the Council is proposing to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and is conducting a consultation to give the community an opportunity to express their views with regards to operational days and hours.

 

Let us know your views

The Council is seeking the views of the community for a proposed CPZ by asking all parties to submit their views through the online e-questionnaire, see the web link below. The decision on whether or not to proceed with the next stage, which would involve a statutory consultation on the proposal, will be subject to the online responses received during this informal consultation.
