Update 9 May 2016

Following the statutory consultation that took place in January - February 2016, the results and feedback from the community were reported to the Cabinet Member for Environment Sustainability and Regeneration. Approval has been given to proceed with implementation of the A1 CPZ Extension with the anticipated operational start time of 11 July 2016. Statutory consultation 21 January 2016

Following requests and a petition received from residents in Lower Downs Road reporting of parking difficulties , the council is now carrying out a statutory consultation on its intention to extend the A1 Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) to Lower Downs Road.

Representations in regards to the proposals described in this Notice must be made in writing to the; Head of Street Sustainable Communities, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX
or email trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk

Representations must reach the Council by no later than 12 February 2016 quoting reference ES/A1ex. Objections must relate only to the elements of the scheme that are subject to this statutory consultation.
