Statutory consultation
Following the informal consultation carried out between 2 and 27 October 2023, the Cabinet Member has made a decision to carry out a statutory consultation. We are carrying out a statutory consultation on our intention to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in the Streatham Road (between properties Nos 53 and 77, odd numbers only) and The Drift Way operational Monday to Sunday between 8.30am and 6.30pm.
A Notice of our intention to introduce the above measures will be published in a local newspaper (Wimbledon and Wandsworth Times) and the London Gazette and posted on lamp columns within the vicinity. Representations against the proposals described in this Notice must be made in writing or email trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk by no later than 23 February 2024 quoting reference ES/GC4. Objections must relate only to the elements of the scheme that are subject to this statutory consultation.

We are seeking the views of the community for a proposed controlled parking zone (CPZ) by asking all parties to submit their views through the questionnaire hard copy.
The decision on whether or not to proceed with the next stage, which would involve a statutory consultation on the proposal, will be subject to the return of the hard copy responses received during this informal consultation.
