Fostering information sessions
These sessions are a really great opportunity to find out more about fostering with Merton. There will be the Fostering Recruitment Officer, a very experienced Foster Carer and an Assessing Social Worker and we talk through, What fostering is? What makes a good foster carer? Why children come into care? The assessment process, as well as the types of payments and support you would receive as a Merton Foster Carer.
- Wednesday 15 May at 11:30am – an information session at Morden Library, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX
- Friday 17 May 2024 at 2pm – an information stall, held outside of Raynes Park Waitrose, 25 Coombe Lane, West Wimbledon, London SW20 0BS
- Thursday 23 May at 11:00am – an information stall, held outside of Raynes Park Waitrose, 25 Coombe Lane, West Wimbledon, London SW20 0BS
Picnic for our foster carers and those interested in fostering
Saturday 1 June 2024, 11am – 2pm – we will be holding a celebratory picnic for our Merton foster carers. There will be representatives from our fostering recruitment team at the picnic for those wanting to know more about fostering for Merton.
