Our supported living service provides accommodation and support for adults with a diagnosed learning disability to live independently.
We have four supported housing sites, and we can also arrange placements with other providers.
Our sites are a mix of one-bedroom apartments with a communal garden or bedsits with shared internal and external spaces.
They are located in Mitcham, Wimbledon Park, and Merton Park.
Each site is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week and support is provided based on your needs.
When you are living at one of our sites the service can help you with:
The service covers adults with learning disabilities, over the age of 18.
We will carry out a needs assessment to see if this service would benefit you.
You need to pay rent to the housing association that owns the premises and you may be able to use Housing Benefit to help with the costs.
You will need to have a financial assessment to work out whether there will be any charges for the support you receive.
London Borough of Merton Supported Living Service has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission - March 2019.
To access supported living, you will need an adult social care needs assessment with the Merton Integrated Learning Disability Team, which is a team of health and social care professionals who work with and understand the needs of people with a learning disability.
