You can park your motorcycle for free in:
- motorcycle bays (see below)
- permit holder bays
- shared use bays and
- pay and display bays.
You must not park your motorcycle on the pavement.
On on-street bays, park at right angles to the kerb with the front or back wheel facing the kerb, so that other motorists can use any other parking spaces.
Motorcycle parking bays
There is no time limit for parking in a motorcycle bay. Make sure you park completely inside the parking space markings, otherwise you may have to pay a penalty charge.
