We will be carrying out some footway improvements in The Path near its Junction with Morden Road, as shown on the plan overleaf. These improvements will create better use of this open space making it more attractive and a safer route for pedestrians and cyclists.
The improvements will include:
- Build out of the junction to provide a safe crossing for pedestrians.
- Rain garden watered by diverting surface water from the adjacent carriageway.
- Diverting cyclists on to the road discouraging them from using the footway.
- Footway surfacing.
- New plants and trees.
What happens next
You will receive a separate letter with details of the precise dates, times and temporary traffic management arrangements.
