Dorset Road – Park Community School
We are proposing to introduce an informal crossing in form of a speed table outside Park Community School.
This will include the removal of speed cushions outside 153 Dorset Rd; reducing the extent of the existing permit holder parking bays; extending the existing school keep clear road markings and the introduction of double yellow lines.
The statutory consultation will end on 28 February 2020. Anyone who wishes to object to any aspect of the proposed measures must do so in writing by emailing trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk by no later than 28 February 2020 quoting reference ES/ Dorset.
All representations along with Officers' comments and recommendations will be presented in a report to the Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Housing and Transport for a final decision.
A copy of the proposed Traffic Management Orders (TMOs), a plan identifying the areas affected by the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons can be inspected at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX during the Council's normal office hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
