Consultation July 2022
Currently the speed limit along Bushey Rd from Grand Drive to Martin Way is 20mph. The Council intends to change the speed limit along this section of Bushey Rd to 30mph. This means that the speed limit from A3 up to Martin Way (both directions) will be 30mph and then it remains at 20mph into the rest of the borough. To make this change, a statutory consultation will be carried out between 14 July and 5 August 2022.
A Notice of the Council’s intention to make this change will be published in a local newspaper (Wimbledon and Wandsworth Times) and the London Gazette. Notices will also be posted on lamp columns in the vicinity. Representations against the proposals described in this Notice must be made no later than 5 August 2022.
