Parking is allowed to load or unload goods. Vehicles can only stop for the time necessary to carry out the act of loading or unloading.

Other activities, such as installing the item you have delivered will not be exempt.

We are only required to observe your vehicle for 2 minutes. If loading or unloading activity is not seen you may be considered to be waiting and a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) can be issued. You may be asked to provide a delivery note or invoice if challenging the PCN. 

Kerb stripes mean that a loading ban may apply. Loading or unloading is not permitted at any time on yellow lines with double kerb stripes. Single kerb stripes mean that loading or unloading is not permitted at certain times stated on a nearby sign.
