We prioritise the reduction of both teenage pregnancy and substance misuse across Merton, to ensure that reductions that have been made nationally are sustained locally.
Our local joint strategy adapts the teenage pregnancy model of delivery of effective prevention and support interventions, to reduce both teenage pregnancy and substance misuse, and to support those who are affected; the participation of young people is key to this.
