Activities
The day centre offers social and leisure-based activities designed to meet the needs of people with mild to moderate learning disabilities. These include:
- computer groups
- cooking
- music
- singing
- sensory and relaxation sessions
- gentle exercise
- community groups
Leisure equipment and spaces
We have:
- a pool table
- air hockey table
- table tennis tables
- a fully equipped sensory room
- a large garden.
Each service user is given the opportunity to choose their timetable of activities.
Charges
Prices vary according to the level of support needed and are per day:
Full day - £36
Half day - £18
One to one (providing a carer to work individually with a client in the centre) - £132 per day
Non-Merton residents - £44.40 full day and £22.30 half day

Open: Monday to Friday from 9am to 3.30 pm.

- The centre is five minutes’ walk from Colliers Wood Tube station.
- There is a small car park at the centre, accessible through Holmes Road.
- Two-hour free car parking is available at the nearby Sainsbury's.
- Bus routes - 57, 131 and 219 stop nearby.
- Cycle parking is available.
How to apply for a place
Potential clients are welcome to spend a free trial day at the centre to help them decide if Leyton Road is the right place for them. If the placement is agreed, there will be a trial period of three months.
