Find a tree preservation order

We have over 600 tree preservation orders (TPO) that we record on a list.

Other protected trees

All trees in conservation areas are protected: see maps of our conservation areas.

Some trees are protected by planning conditions. You can search for these using the Planning Explorer.

If you would like to find out about planning consents that took place before 1 December 2005 please write to: site.history@merton.gov.uk(link sends email).
