This service offers support for middle and senior leaders, class teachers and teaching assistants relating to all aspects of the curriculum. We offer subject specific, as well as pedagogical, support based on currents and established methods.
Within this service we offer training delivered by nationally recognised accredited trainers in whole class and intervention programmes such as Numicon, Merton Talk Class and Talking Partners. All mathematics - training courses are by the NCETM gold standard for CPD.
What we offer
Bespoke support for all staff working with pupils in a primary school setting.
- One to one sessions to strengthen strategic subject leadership including but not limited to: action planning support and monitoring feedback
- Team teaching and modelling of quality first teaching across Early Years, KS1 and KS2
- Bespoke training for teachers and teaching assistants delivered as INSET days, staff meetings or small group sessions
- Support with specific aspects of English and Maths such as teaching of phonics and spellings, Talk or Writing, Guided Reading/Writing/Maths, Overcoming Barriers and the use of models and images.
- Support for curriculum development planning and implementation
- Training on assessment for learning strategies
- Subject specific Ofsted preparation
- Whole school subject monitoring alongside Senior Leadership teams
- Support in the assessment and monitoring of pupils' progress and evaluation of intervention packages
- Support and guidance with pupils progress meetings accountability.
Quality and service and evaluation
Aspects of this service are regulated and evaluated by external providers, including the NCETM Professional Development Accredited Lead, Numicon accreditation and Bradford Talking partner's accreditation. Other aspects are evaluated on regular basis and feedback is always welcome.
