​The Planning and Highways team deal with all aspects of planning law ranging from planning agreements and planning notices to planning appeals, strategic planning and advice in relation to Conservation Areas and Listed Buildings.  

We also act for our clients in defending planning appeals, legal challenges to planning decisions and negotiating costs orders. We service the Planning Committees as required including attending meetings when needed.  

Our highways work encompasses agreements, licences and stopping up orders along with advising on traffic management orders and defending legal challenges. There is occasional related work involving compulsory purchase and compensation, commons and village greens.
