​Housing team
The Housing team cover a wide range of work for our 5 Boroughs. That includes providing advice for housing policy and procedures; issuing claims for possession of council tenancies for alleged breaches of tenancy conditions from non-payment of rent, anti-social behaviour to fraudulent use of social housing; issuing proceedings where a council property has unauthorised occupants, trespassers, or a failed succession claims; issuing injunctions including the prevention of anti-social behaviour and access to premises; dealing with issues relating to applications for housing and homelessness; and, dealing with Judicial Review claims arising out of a housing case.
The team work in conjunction with housing officers and other partner agencies to collate evidence and build a case to bring before the courts. They have strong relationships with our client officers and stake holders and relish any challenge that is sent to the Team to address.

Debt team
The debt team recovers any balance outstanding to the local authority with types such as service charge arrears, former tenancy arrears, heating and hot water, council tax, community infrastructure levies, adult social care arrears, housing benefit and any other miscellaneous debts.
The debt team also deals with enforcement of many different debt types and can proceed with high court enforcement, charging orders, third party debt orders, orders to attend court, attachments of earning and more.
