Wimbledon Community Chorus Summer Serenade Concert

Wimbledon Community Chorus, one of Merton’s most dynamic community choirs, presents Summer Serenade, an uplifting evening of band and choral pieces, in honour of Armed Forces Day. The concert is a fundraising event, with profits going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. WCC is delighted to welcome its special guest, the Central Band of the Royal British Legion. Morden Family Funday and Coops Classic Car Show
The Morden Family Funday and Coops Classic Car and Vehicle Show returns to Morden Park for the 10th year. The event is sponsored by ParkWay Driving School, COOPs Insurance, Goodfellows estate agents and supported by Merton Council.

With over 60 stalls, the organisers have pulled out all the stops to ensure that the Morden Family Funday surpasses all expectations. There will be live performances on the main stage from the communities top local talent, as well as countless shopping stalls, an array of food cuisines, numerous festivities for children including the 1st Morden Scouts climbing wall, a Land Train, nature trails and a sport and culture zone, which includes local sport, art, literature and wellbeing. Merton Dog Watch will be hosting a mini dog show and will be on hand for expert doggy advice. Visit the community marquee, which will feature information stands from local community organisations and charities.
