We apologise for the delay in the opening of Joseph Hood Rec's paddling pool due to a specialised piece of equipment being held up at customs on its way from Europe. We hope to have the pool open soon, so please check back for further updates. |

Paddling pools and splash pads dos and don’ts
We want you to be able to enjoy these facilities in a safe and responsible manner, and avoid closures for unplanned maintenance, so we kindly request the following:
- Children are to be supervised at all times
- Suitable swimming clothing is to be worn at all times for hygiene - Swimming nappies, swimming trunks or a swimming costume is required
- No food or drink is to be brought into the facility
- No sand is to be brought from the sandpit into the facility to keep the filters clear
- Please be respectful to other users and staff on site
